Entrepreneurial Backbone

Over the last 2 decades, I have worked across 6 different industries in a variety of disciplines and job titles. The common theme within all roles has been a capacity for efficient process development and effective project management, while applying right brain creativity and organization to left brain execution and problem-solving environments.

Starting in the hardscrabble music industry, spending time in land management while dealing with a family terminal illness situation, to a start-up ecommerce business in the action video and production world, to international business development in low resource communities for a start-up humanitarian product, to the most recent phase of grounded and functional operational and client services roles in the education and restaurant industries – I have kept a consistency of values that come with an entrepreneurial foundation.

In the last 9 years, all my endeavors have involved international elements, including Africa, China, and India, in addition to an extensive domestic base. For this reason, my dominant form of operation is through email, and my style is formal and translatable. Even though there are thousands of emails throughout any given year, I am a zero inbox person, because every email gets moved into a relevant process/project pipeline – regardless of whether that is managed by an outside platform or my own internal pipeline.
